We won’t say it’s a race for everyone…because – it isn’t!
But it is a race for MTB fans ready to experience a powerful mix of breathtaking trails, pains and pleasure, partners and rivals and the race where all those who reach the finish line are – winners!
We won’t say this is the toughest race ever…it’s probably not! But we know it’s not often that you experience such diversity of the terrain, sharp and steep climbs and and fast and technically demanding descents where only the bravest will let the brakes all the way.
We won’t say that this is the most beautiful race…beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. But it’s the race along single trails on the coastline with steep climbs to the mountain tops awarding bikers with magnificent views of unspoiled nature and villages over thousand years old….Oh yes…we definitely can say this race is one of the most beautiful in the world!
Adria Bike 4 Islands is a team MTB stage race with 4 stages. Each team consists of 2 riders. In 4 days of the race participants will make around 270 km and climb up 5 000 meters. Also, they will pass through the most beautiful locations on the island Krk, island Rab, island Cres and island Lošinj. Participation is open to any person older than 18 years. No licence needed.

During the “4 Islands MTB stage race 2017”, the whole organisation and logistic infrastructure will be placed on two bases which are the starting points for all activities during the race:
RACE BASE 1 – Baska, island Krk, from 18.04.2017 – 21.04.2017.
RACE BASE 2 – Veli Losinj, island Losinj, from 21.04.2017 – 23.04.2017.
Base services:
4 Islands MTB stage race is unique also due to its “logistic” and daily transfers from island to island. To make it easier, accessible and simpler, we here provide you with a short description and possible transfers per day.
RACE BASE 2 – Baska, island Krk
Tuesday 18th April 2017.
Registration period is lasting from 2 pm to 10 pm. Bike depo is opened from 2 pm to midnight. Briefing for participants for stage 1 is at 8 pm, welcome drink starts at 9 pm. Free parking lot for participant is ensured.
Wednesday 19th April 2017.
Registration period is lasting from 7 am to 9 am. Bike depo is opened from 7 am. Start and finish are in Baška (island Krk), all side and supporting content (bike wash, bike depo, meal) as well. First stage winners announcement and briefing for the next day are also happening in stationary base 1 in Baška..
Thursday 20th April 2017.
Participants and bikes will be transferred to the start of the stage 2 on island Rab where also meal will be served after the race. Participants will then be returned to a stationary base 1 in Baška for a briefing for the stage 3. Bikes will be directly transferred from stage 2 on Rab to stage 3 on Cres via special ferry line.
Friday 21st April 2017.
RACE BASE 2, Veli Lošinj, island Lošinj
The whole set up, the race and all connected content will be moved from stationary base 1 in Baška to stationary base 2 in Veli Lošinj. Start of the stage 3 is in Cres, in port Merag, and the finish i sin Osor. That’s the only stage in entire race which is not circular (start and finish are not at the same spot). We will be having winner’s announcement and meal in Osor while briefing for the stage 4 will be held in stationary base 2 in hotel Vitality Punta in Veli Lošinj.
Saturday 22nd April2017.
Start of the stage 4 is in Mali Lošinj, only 3 kilometres distant from the stationary base 2 (hotel Vitality Punta). The finish line and the meal after the race will be in Mali Lošinj. Winner’s announcement ceremony and finishers party will be happening in hotel Vitality Punta in the evening.

Price is per participant. 4 Islands MTB stage race is team race, consist of 2 riders.
Payment: bank transfer to event organizer.
The race is limited to 600 participants.

Not included in the price: insurance, acommodation, transfer 21.04.2017. from Race Base 1 & Race Base 2 (Baska – Veli Losinj), return to the start of the race after the race.
For you to have your supporters on site and enable them to completely follow you through all 4 stages we have created a supporters package. It includes visit to the most relevant positions during the race and a short sightseeing at the end of each of the stage. It is our intention to actively include supporters during the race.

The package covers: all mentioned transfers, package for supporters (bracelet, T-shirt, logistic materials, guideline documents to follow the race, live results), meal with participants after each of the stage and professional guide during the programme.
The package DOES NOT include insurance, accommodation, transfer of 21st April between stationary base 1 and stationary base 2 (Baška – Veli Lošinj), return to stationary base 1 after the race.
Additionally, supporters might rent an e-bike for any of the stages including precise directions how to reach a particular point during the race. Rental price of e-bike is 20 EUR/day.
