FUŽINE 2 SEA 2016

Event: Fužine 2 Sea, recreational MTB marathon

Venue: Fužine, Gorski Kotar, Croatia

Morning, 9 o’clock and refreshing 15C degrees in Gorski Kotar at the start. Rushing through the deep evergreen forests followed by a complete change of vegetation and climate that culminate by turning to Crikvenica Riviera at about 30 plus celsius.
Hellish steep climb up and back to Fužine, and a prize above all prizes – the shade of highland forests. From 800 m to zero and then back to 800. And a few more meters of climb upon the bumps taking away your last atoms of strength.
That is the longest, royal, epic trail that connects two different worlds, two different climates, in just one day. A challenge to which only the strongest ones are prepared for and for which we are looking for 150 riders that can conquer it. Or who think they can. 82 km and 2200 meters of ascent. Trails that will make your hands feel numb and drastic climate changes are included in the price.
Fužine 2 Sea is a new race in our calendar. For those who can achieve a lot but not so much, we have another trail 50 km of length and 1,200 meters of ascent that leads to the peaks of the surrounding hills overlooking the green heart of Croatian with its forests and lakes.
11 km and 200 meters of ascent is the third trail that offers a relaxed ride at the ideal temperature and at a time when you do not want to ride anywhere in Croatia. The feeling of real racing and risk-free adventure.
