HELTER SKELTER MTB MARATHON HISTORY

It’s the end of April 2019. And no one has ever thought of a virus that will keep us on “standby” for the next two seasons.
While everything smelled as spring and a real MTB refreshment at “unexplored” trails of Istria, Husqvarna Adria Bike Series got a new race – HELTER SKELTER.
A race for serious MTB riders.
A race on serious terrain & dynamics you will not find in any other corner of Croatia.
A race at one of the most famous and most popular MTB destinations on the Adriatic – in Rabac.

Some of spring sun, some of rain – just the right amount for attractive muddy photos, and a lot of positive energy. In his first edition already, Helter Skelter proved to be a hit at the beginning of the season. Who coped with the harsh terrain well, who did worse, and who excelled, you can recall HERE.

In its second season, Helter Skelter successfully fought against the coronavirus lockdown. After the race was postponed twice, the first race and the first event of that corona-2020-year was Helter Skelter.
The cyclists finally came into their own at the end of June 2020. Although with a slightly lower number of participants and under strict epidemiological measures, Helter Skelter was held with a lot of enthusiasm. And literally nothing can compare to those smiles when crossing the finish line after a successful battle with harsh terrain in the summer heat.

Although the coronavirus decisively continued its regency in the next season, Helter Skelter third edition was held even more decisively in May of 2021. Sun and wind marked this edition. Some well-known, some new faces. And all full of positive energy, happy to see each other again and race again, happy to be able to rush to the finish line and use the last atoms of strength on the endless singles.

The second weekend in May of 2022 is an opportunity, not for a rerun – but for a new, even better, even more challenging 4th edition of Helter Skelter.
Because Helter Skelter always presents new challenges.
Because Helter Skelter does not admit compromises.
Because Helter Skelter is not for every cyclist.
Because Helter Skelter is a full-blooded MTB race, no matter how much you keep quiet about it.
